IWP has been engaged in providing total management services through urban/industiral water management contracts and concession schemes for water and wastewater systems within the Kingdom. The core areas covered by IWP in Urban Water Management are management of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, wastewater treatment plants, etc. in addition to various types of utility services such as human resources management and financial management for water utilities, and customer services and asset management.


National Water Company (NWC)

The National water Company “NWC” was established in 2008 as a Saudi joint stock company wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund “PIF”. NWC provides water and wastewater services based on sound business principles and international best practices through a concerted effort by national cadres. It also devotes efforts to securing high-quality drinking water for all customers, connecting all households to water and wastewater networks, preserving natural water resources, protecting the environment, utilizing treated wastewater, providing high-end services to customers, and developing and training Saudi human resources in accordance with international standards.

Our Contract with NWC

The Management, Operation and Maintenance Contract (MOMC) is a contract agreement between the National Water Company (NWC) and a consortium of three companies from different countries, Saur SAS of France, Miahona Company of Kingdom Saudi Arabia, and Manila Water Company INC of the Philippines. Together the three entities formed a joint venture company named International Water Company (IWP). The joint venture is primarily composed of twenty-seven experts from different professional fields related to the management, operation of water utility projects. The contract agreement aims to deliver strategic tasks and initiatives that will improve the overall condition of the NWC North-West Cluster (Madinah and Tabuk regions).
